Part of the Center’s mission is to administer the Ministerial Excellence Fund, which is a financial assistance program to provide direct financial relief to ministers. The fund will be focused on three priorities:
- Retirement Kick Start Plan. Our research shows only 28% of pastors receive a retirement benefit in their compensation package. Do you and your church need help making a retirement plan a reality? Our kickstart plan works with pastors and their churches to not only start a retirement plan but also match BOTH the pastor and the church’s contribution (up to $100 total per month) for 12 months. Click here for more information.
- Medical Matching Grant. Our research shows 18% of pastors said that medical bills are a significant stressor in their life. Do you have current or past medical bills? Let us help. We are pleased to partner with you by matching half your medical bills up to $1500. Click here for more information.
- School Loan Assistance. Nearly half (49%) of AG pastors under the age 45 have school debt. Let us help you focus on where God has you today instead of the debt it took to get you in ministry. CLSE is partnering with the AG Trust and the Alliance for AG Higher Education to offer AG Next Generation Grants to graduates of AG endorsed schools. The application window closes September 15. Sign up here to be notified when the application window opens.
The Ministerial Excellence Fund is similar to a benevolence program. If you are a minister and would like to apply for assistance in one of these areas, please submit an application.
